This is a 100 day challenge. Each day, you post a picture of something that made you happy. You do this for a hundred days.

For me, the whole point of doing this is to remind myself to stop and appreciate the good things in life.

I remember a while ago, I read a book written by a psychologist that said I could, at the end of each day, try thinking of 3 things that happened to me during the day that I am happy or thankful for. Then write them down in a diary/journal. That would help me in raising my levels of contentness and happiness.

I kept that up for about 2 months and then stopped eventually. I really should have kept going, because it made a noticeable difference to my general mood and attitude to life then. Somehow, life became more hectic and I started finding it hard to find the time to keep up with doing that, so I stopped eventually, the effects of which can be felt, and was not doing me any good.

I’m more of a visual person anyway, so I think the 100 HAPPY DAYS project might be a better way for me to sustain this habit over a long period of time.

No matter how bad a situation can be, there is always some good to be found in all this.
